Hello everybody! We made it home (actually a few days ago). The trip was a total success. We finished the room on time and it looks amazing and we got to have some quality time with the kids in the King's Kids ministry. I want to say thank you so much to everybody that has prayed for me and/or given financial support. Your aid did not go unused. You all are truly a blessing to me.

We Finally Made It
Hey everybody! Our team has finally made it. We arrived a day later than we intended to because of weather delays and faulty booking. It has already been a taxing and long journey so far. Tonight we will be participating in the King's Kids ministry in the housing projects of Paisley, Scotland. I am told that this is a very rough area. However I am excited and confident in the Lord. Please keep our team in your prayers in the following ways: spirit, mind, body, and culture. Thank you so much for supporting us so far. Don't forget to keep checking back

Fund Raising Underway
Hello friends. Just stopping in to give you all a bit of an update. My fund raising has started and I am already being blessed. Recently I have been stressing about the financial aspect of this trip--something I don't normally worry about. After some prayer for peace and comfort I was given a sign. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I am getting a refund from UMKC on my tuition and I also received some money back on the computer I had to purchase. It was God telling me not to worry. I've also got some new fund raising opportunities on the horizon. At Duncan Road Baptist Church we are going to start collecting used cell phones and ink jet cartridges to help raise money for the trip. So, if you go to DRBC or would like to get rid of your old phones (tax deductible?) and ink drop me an email (ckrgd@umkc.edu) and I'll get you some more details.
